• Emissions: Armenia emitted around 10.6 megatonnes CO₂e in 2024, about 0.02% of the global total.
• Per person: Emissions were around 3.6 tonnes per person per year, rated moderate on a scale where any level above zero adds warming.
• Trend: Emissions rose by around 0.2 megatonnes CO₂e a year over the ten years to 2024, rather than the 4% yearly decline the world needs to achieve Net Zero in 2050 and limit warming to around 1.7 °C.
• What drives it: CO₂ makes up 75% of emissions, methane 15%, nitrous oxide 6.7% and F-gases 3.1%.
• Historic responsibility: Since 1851, Armenia's emissions have produced around 752 megatonnes CO₂e of warming impact, about 0.02% of the global total, or around 2.6 tonnes per person per year.
