• Emissions: Lithuania emitted around 22.4 megatonnes CO₂e in 2024, about 0.04% of the global total.
• Per person: Emissions were around 7.8 tonnes per person per year in 2024, rated very high on a scale where any level above zero adds warming.
• Trend: Emissions fell by around 0.26 megatonnes CO₂e a year, or 1.06% annually, over the ten years to 2024. This was slower than the 4% yearly global decline needed for Net Zero in 2050 and around 1.7 °C warming.
