• Per person: Emissions were around 6.1 tonnes per person per year in 2024, rated high on a scale where any level above zero adds warming.
• Trend: Emissions fell by around 4.8% a year over the ten years to 2024, faster than the 4% yearly global decline needed for Net Zero in 2050 and warming of around 1.7 °C.
