• Trend: Emissions fell by around 1.9 megatonnes CO₂e a year, or 1.75% yearly, over the ten years to 2024-slower than the 4% yearly global decline needed for Net Zero in 2050 and around 1.7 °C warming.
• What drives it: CO₂ made up around 63% of emissions, methane 22.6%, nitrous oxide 11% and F-gases 3.6%.
