• Emissions: Singapore emitted around 74.6 megatonnes CO₂e in 2024, about 0.13% of the global total.
• Per person: Emissions were around 12.8 tonnes per person per year in 2024, rated extremely high on a scale where any level above zero adds warming.
• Trend: Emissions rose by around 1.25 megatonnes CO₂e a year over the ten years to 2024, rather than the 4% yearly decline the world needs to achieve Net Zero in 2050 and limit warming to around 1.7 °C.
